An iconic figure of the French rock scene, La Femme has continuously evolved its musical and visual universe, from early performances in Parisian clubs to major international stages.
In December 2025, the band reached a new milestone by performing for the first time at the Accor Arena, France’s largest indoor venue, celebrating more than ten years of career and the release of their latest album.
For this landmark show, the scenography was conceived as a fully immersive visual experience. The project brought together long-standing collaborators of the band: lighting designer Rémi Deschamps, director Ilan Zerrouki, known for his work on numerous La Femme music videos and album artworks, and Quentin Brard, SMODE operator on the tour.
Together, they designed an ambitious visual setup combining projection mapping, LED screens and generative content, all driven in real time by SMODE, without the involvement of an external creative studio or artistic director.

"Working with SMODE and its compositing power is always a pleasure. On a show with such a high level of artistic freedom and such an extensive video setup, SMODE truly made the impossible possible."
Invited onto the project by Rémi Deschamps, Quentin Brard quickly took on a central role, both technically and creatively. His involvement went far beyond operating the media servers, as he actively contributed to the visual design of the show alongside Rémi Deschamps and Ilan Zerrouki. The entire artistic direction of the concert was therefore conceived and developed internally, allowing for complete creative freedom.

The scenography was built around a monumental eight-meter-tall inflatable head, the visual centerpiece of the show, featuring integrated LED strips in the hair, eyes and contours. This element was animated using precise projection mapping with two projectors from Barco, and continuously interacted with LED screens, lighting and music. Depending on each scene, lighting, video or a combination of both would take the creative lead, reinforcing the overall visual impact of the performance.

Full show synchronized with lighting via a MA Lighting grandMA2 console. Part of the video content was produced upstream by Ilan Zerrouki, while many elements were created, adapted or enhanced live within SMODE, ensuring a fluid, reactive and fully integrated workflow throughout the performance.
