3D Channel

3D Channel

A 3D Space that will be casted inside your stage elements

Do not confuse with Volume Layer The Volume layer is used to generate volume information witch is sent to the stage elements Read More
A 3d channel is mainly used for multi point-of-view project. This Channel receive content from 3D Scene Specific type of scene for 3D content Read More
it's role is to dispatch 3D Scene Specific type of scene for 3D content Read More through a single 3D space that can be then recovered inside Processor This section describes how to configure Smode processors in order to configure your output(s) and also make some nice and smooth stage pre-visualisations Read More , Stage processor or Compo Composite 2D Layer, Shape layer and 3D Layer together. [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [N] to create a new composition after opening Smode Read More and shooted independantly inside each of them.
A 3d channel can contain 3d channel inside itself
For example: 2 Led Screen Screens with a pitch and a luminosity Read More can display the same 3D Scene Specific type of scene for 3D content Read More but from a different point of view.

Basic usage:

  1. Create a Led Screen Screens with a pitch and a luminosity Read More with an internal Processor This section describes how to configure Smode processors in order to configure your output(s) and also make some nice and smooth stage pre-visualisations Read More
  2. Create a VR Window Camera A specific camera for Off-axis projection rendering Read More inside the Led screen processor.
  3. Move or place your VR Window Camera A specific camera for Off-axis projection rendering Read More out of the Led Screen
  4. Drag and Drop the 3d channel inside the Processor This section describes how to configure Smode processors in order to configure your output(s) and also make some nice and smooth stage pre-visualisations Read More .

It's possible to preview the 3d channel directly inside the stage. Very useful to place Stage Element An element inside the Stage Read More or any 3D layers in a virtual world.

Parameters

  • Current Camera (Camera Selector) : The camera used to make a Frustum projection when needed
  • Additional Oversize (Percentage (Optional)) : An oversize added to the camera Fov used to render the content
  • Deprojection Distance (Meters) : The distance of the 3d plane of the frustum
