SMODE is not only a powerful encoding machine designed to unleash visual creativity; it’s also a robust, reliable, and scalable system for delivering shows in time.
With shows usually being simulated ahead of time, the idea is to simply plug your cables in when arriving on site. It's usually very quick and you get the exact result you were expecting, because you were able to solve all the problems in advance.
Any operator can integrate SMODE with the rest of their AV kit (light, sound, etc.) and work on it using its dedicated control interfaces (such as streamdeck, lighting or MIDI desk).
SMODE has an "ON AIR" button which can be activated to indicate that you are ‘live’. When this mode is switched on, SMODE enters a new mode to foster content reliability and restitution.
SMODE offers a wide range of tools to create any video mapping, from warping the most simple cube to the more complex projection on motorized surfaces with dynamic soft-edge blending and video projector allocation.
To cater for large video settings, several SMODE servers can be networked to increase the amount of network output.
What's more, SMODE-NET allows several operators to work at the same time in a collaborative manner.
SMODE can not only be managed by control devices, but it can also send automation requests to other machines and become the conductor of the show.
SMODE can also be used in an offline context (i.e. not ‘live’), in order to export an entire piece of video content, so it can be broadcasted by a simple playback system.
Its ability to deal with tremendously large resolutions makes it the perfect tool for creating content and exporting videos for each video projector view of an immersive space for example.
