Amici di Maria De Filippi

Created by Maria De Filippi, the show began in 2001 and has since aired annually. The show is produced by Fascino P.G.T. s.r.l. and is broadcast on Canale 5.

Once called "Saranno Famosi" in honor of the 1980 namesake movie, it's a talent show revolving around dancing and singing abilities. The competitors are split into two teams: BLUE ones and WHITE ones, competing against the opposite team until only one artist gets to win the competition, as well as a major contract.

Blend 2D and 3D

A large part of Amici's video content mixes 2D compositing techniques with real-time rendered 3D.

This can be done in a very flexible way thanks to camera mapping in SMODE.
