Augmenta

Tracking technology for creative interactivity in your SMODE immersive environments

Augmenta is a tracking technology to easily bring interactivity to any immersive project. It enables making any space and surface reactive, whatever the size and number of people: your creativity is the only limit.

Augmenta is based on a 3D distributed system of sensors called nodes. Each node analyzes its surroundings for calibration and starts tracking people or objects, sending data to the Fusion software that maps and merges the data over the space. The consolidated data is then sent to the network with a protocol that is natively supported by SMODE.

Inside SMODE, the tracking data can be processed in several creative ways, including emitting particles from trackers, creating interactions between trackers or modulating the application of modifiers depending on the presence or absence of trackers in given zones.
